A BIT MORE:

What is one of your greatest memories from the Olympic Games?
For me it was being able to stand on the velodrome with my Mum, Dad, Sister and girlfriend after winning the Silver medal in the team pursuit. It was a very special moment that I will never forget. They had all supported me over the years to get me to this moment, it wasn't just my medal it was ours as a family.

How did you come to participate in your chosen sport? How old were you?
I have always been mad about bikes. I used to downhill mountain bike. But the South Australian Sports Institute came to my school and did tests on us. To much of my surprise it came back that  would be suited to track and road cycling!

What is the importance of sport for you in your life? How have you continued living a healthy and active lifestyle since retiring from sport?
For me it’s a way to stay healthy, travel the world, make some of the most amazing friends from all over the world and finally be able to make a living from something that I love! I am pretty lucky to be able to get paid to do something that I love.
